SoftGodam was founded in 2021 by engineers who had spent years on both sides of the outsourcing relationship — as clients frustrated by vague commitments and as developers frustrated by clients who didn't know what they were buying.
The insight was simple: the root cause of almost every bad outsourcing experience is the same thing. Nobody put the commitments in writing. Response times, IP ownership, exit terms, documentation standards — these were discussed but never contractualised, which meant they didn't actually exist.
We built SoftGodam around the opposite principle. Every commitment we make is in the contract. Every deliverable has a standard. Every client has a named contact. And every engagement has an exit clause — because we believe clients who feel free to leave choose to stay.
